Facilitated calibration session
Marisoph Consulting facilitates your first calibration session: validating evaluations, aligning standards and making decisions with confidence.
The same score doesn't mean the same thing to every manager
Decisions about people become fair, transparent and predictable.
Even with a good evaluation model, some managers are more generous and others stricter. Without calibration, a Performer in one team may be a Solid Contributor in another.
If these differences reach salary decisions, the system loses its credibility in the very first year, and people go back to believing everything depends on the boss.
Calibration is the moment when managers put their evaluations side by side and align the standard before decisions become final.

Frequently asked questions
Who takes part in the calibration session?
The managers who evaluated teams, plus a member of leadership who can validate the decisions. The evaluated employees do not take part.
What if managers disagree on a case?
We go back to the criteria and the data. The facilitator's role is to move the discussion from preferences to evidence and to document the final decision.
Why only the first session?
The goal is for your organization to become self-sufficient. We facilitate the first session and leave the rules and format behind; if needed, we can return for later cycles.
